Comfort Inn Denver West Arvada Station

This was a great place to stay while we spent time west of Denver, with great proximity to the Red Rocks Amphitheater and Golden, and a short 1.5 hour drive to the Colorado springs area. We checked in late and had to ring the bell at the front desk but the attendant came right away and was very helpful. The rooms had all of the expected amenities and beds and towels were clean. Breakfast was great with the usual options and then some.

The hotel itself is fairly nice. It's quiet and the bed in the room is comfortable. The room itself had a weird odor when I first walked in. On the downside, there is another hotel right next door that has blue doors and looks extremely rundown. The people going in and out of it look VERY sketchy. The Frisbee golf park (next to Comfort Inn) that I could see from my window looked nice but there was a homeless couple who camped out and slept in the park, right under my third floor window while I was staying there. I said something to the front desk about them being there but was told that the Denver police won't do anything about them being there. I ended up calling the police myself and got the situation taken care of. With the shady hotel so close nearby and homeless people sleeping right near Comfort Inn, I don't feel comfortable staying at this hotel in the future. I would also not recommend staying at this hotel.

Pretty decently cleaned room, staff were super friendly and helpful. Good location if your looking for shopping centers or food nearby. Only odd thing about this place was the parking lot but other then that we had a decent stay.

Service was great! Everyone was nice except the front desk in the morning on checkout. The front desk was very rude when expressing the checkout time of 11am when it was 15 minutes after. However, the people handling the morning breakfast we wonderful, kind and respectful. Amazing service!
