Exceptional customer service from the team especially from Aaron. Meat plate with two sides plus a drink ($26 after tip) Pulled pork - tender and not super fry, pairs well with the bbq sauce (they have several options) flavor profile is mild, I was wishing for some more kick behind the seasoning. 3.5/5 Fries - really good and I love whatever house rub they use for them. They are shoestring but cooked well and not too crispy 4/5 Baked beans - nice flavor and they add in meat, it is a bit weird texture wise as it seems to have cheesy profile and pull. I don’t hate them but I don’t know if I would get them next time. 3/5 Slaw - has a weird undertone flavor I can’t quite place. Not my favorite but I am also not wanting to toss it in the trash 2.5/5 Cornbread - he was so sweet to give me a free slice. It isn’t bad at all, has a sweet and salty mix of flavor. Not the best I have had but definitely not terrible! 3.5/5 Sweet tea - very good, usually it either tastes sour or is barely sweet but this one is just right.

This is hands down the best freaking BBQ I have had in Colorado since I moved here 10 years ago. Kook is the greatest and he’s so knowledgeable about food and beers.

I really liked this spot, but it seems like every time I go by (which is a lot), there are very few folks here. Wonderful pulled pork, spicy sausage, and burnt ends. The sweeter, honey sausage was not as good but others in our group liked it. They were out of chicken and brisket by the time we got there, but it was close to closing time so understandable. Yummy sides, especially the baked beans and potato salad. Nice outdoor seating set far enough away from 38th that you don’t feel like you’re eating in the median of a highway. Inside dining is great also, but the music was a little loud. Still, all in all this was a great meal - exceptional value for sure!

Rolling Smoke BBQ in Wheat Ridge is incredible. We had the burnt ends, Mac n cheese bowl, fries and Texas toast - and everything was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The burnt ends were especially amazing! We paired our food with margaritas and IPAs, which hit the spot and made the experience even better. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant (including the bathrooms!) was super clean. The vibe here is awesome - laid-back, fun, and perfect for hanging out to enjoy some incredible food and drinks. We loved the outdoor seating options and can’t wait to come back when the weather warms up. This spot is a gem, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.
