This is a cute sushi spot right in the heart of the Highlands. It is multi-level and multi-experience spot. They have good lunch menu options, and a great happy hour menu. I had the sushi hai lunch combo 🍣, hamachi-kama 🐟, and spicy garlic edamame 🫛 and a Yuzu Cosmo 🍸!! Went back and had happy hour sushi and apps. Did not disappoint!!! 👏🏾 Everything was fresh and delicious!! Be sure to request Shin as your bartender! He was very attentive and gave me a little tour of the whole space. The lower level has a bar that makes you feel like you stepped into a local bar in Japan. As well as a couple of tatami style rooms you can host private events in and enjoy your meal in a traditional way. Love this spot, it will be my new go to for any sushi cravings. As well as any special celebrations to be had. They also host a comedy night down in the basement.

Came here with some friends and absolutely loved this restaurant. I ordered the pacqiao roll and surf n turf roll and was blown away by how good they were. They also have a huge sake collection, probably the biggest in Denver. I honestly would go back just for their drinks. The service was amazing and staff was so friendly, doing sake bombs was my favorite part! The ambience was great; this restaurant is massive! Parking was surprisingly easy given its prime location, plenty of street parking even during their busy hours (can’t really say that about many restaurants in Denver…) 10/10 would highly recommend sushi hai even the most critical sushi critics, I’m a Korean person who grew up in Los Angeles and San Diego where sushi was taken very very seriously. Can’t wait to return!

What a delightful dinner at the sushi bar! Cong took great care of us and Peter made artful rolls and even gave us a complimentary sushi dessert! I'm so glad my friends introduced me to this place, will definitely be back.
