Had a fantastic experience at Santo Remedio in Denver. Karla provided excellent service—she was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly, and the drinks were not only tasty but also beautifully presented. Highly recommend!

We had visited this location once before and had a great experience. Tonight, we decided to bring our family for a celebration and unfortunately were very disappointed by the service. Our waitress explained she had limited help so we were trying to be patient until we noticed other tables that were seated after us were already receiving their food and we had yet to even order. We were finally able to ask the food runner if we could order and he was able to get our waitress to come back. The majority of the night was spent waving our waitress down for extra plates, to inquire about a dessert menu, and to finally get the check. The food is great but we will likely not be returning due to the service.

I posted my review on Yelp but just realized I should’ve posted it here instead. I visited last Friday night and overall had a really nice experience, the food and drinks were great, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. I want to be clear that this review is not about the restaurant as a whole, but about an unfortunate interaction that stood out. While dining, I had eaten a piece of jalapeño that was much spicier than expected and quickly drank all of my water. I even finished my friend's water and politely asked a waiter walking by (not our server) if he could bring me some water. He said he would. Our server hadn't been by for a bit, and I assumed she was helping with a large party upstairs, so I was patient, but my mouth was on fire and I really needed water. After waiting and seeing the waiter standing in the back talking with another server and looking toward me, I decided to walk to the bar myself with our empty glasses to ask the bartender for water. As I was speaking to the bartender, the waiter (Alfredo) came up and physically snatched the glasses out of my hands, stormed off, and left both the bartender and me standing there completely taken aback. I honestly wasn't expecting a physical reaction like that at all. He later brought water to the table, and I let him know l'd be writing a review. A manager then approached us, sincerely apologized, comped our drinks, and personally took care of our table for the rest of the night, which I truly appreciated and handled very professionally. What made the situation uncomfortable again was that afterward, both Alfredo and our original server were visibly staring at our table, which made us feel awkward and unwelcome. Despite everything, I still paid my tab and tipped over 20% because I understand people can have bad days. But physically grabbing items out of a customer's hands is never okay. I really enjoyed the food, drinks, and most of the service, and I hope this is taken as constructive feedback rather than a reflection of the restaurant overall. One moment shouldn't overshadow an otherwise great experience, but it was significant enough to mention.

Looks like a very nice date night spot. But don't eat here. Tried chips and salsa - not sure what's all in their homemade salsa, but it's warm, mushy, and unpleasant. The enchiladas weren't any better. Ate less than half of my plate because the red sauce is... idk how to explain it. But chicken also lacked flavor. Pretty disappointed. $21 for enchiladas I couldn't even stomach and $3 for chips and salsa that reminded me of baby food. Also had screwed up my order and had to be remade, but maybe I should've stuck with the green sauce after all. Don't recommend.
