I stayed here for 3 days while at a conference. This is a great hotel to stay at if attending a conference, as it just takes a couple minutes to walk over. I had a room on the 12th floor, which had a nice territorial view of the city and mountains. The front desk staff were awesome! The room was really nice, though starting to show some minor wear. My bed was ok, but probably needing a new mattress soon. They have a restaurant and small bar area. I had breakfast there, which was really good. They have options such as continental breakfast, pancakes, build your own omelets, biscuits and gravy, and more.

We stayed in Room 1133 and unfortunately our experience was extremely frustrating, especially traveling with small children. On our first night at around 3:00 AM, the fire alarm was pulled and the entire building had to evacuate. We had to walk down 11 flights of stairs with our three-year-old and six-week-old baby, which was exhausting and honestly scary given the circumstances. Fire trucks were on site, but when we spoke with the front desk receptionist, she said she had no idea what happened and told us to simply go back up to our room. There was no clear communication and it didn’t feel like the situation was handled with urgency or reassurance. Throughout our stay, we also dealt with multiple maintenance issues: • The shower diverter sprayed water everywhere and had very low water pressure • The bathroom door would not latch or lock, which is a major concern when traveling with kids The elevator situation was also inconvenient, especially with children and gear. The only elevator that takes you to parking requires going down to the lobby and then back up again. A better setup or additional access buttons on more floors would make a big difference. We brought these concerns to staff members Shayla and Jayla, and the response we received was disappointing. We were essentially told that because it was a busy volleyball weekend, they weren’t concerned, and it felt like our issues were being brushed off instead of taken seriously. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations, and between the safety concerns, poor maintenance, and lack of customer service, I believe a partial refund would be appropriate.

We recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Denver Downtown and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, but what truly made our stay exceptional was Jason and Luiz. Jason went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our stay a great one. It’s rare to encounter that level of customer service. Thank you, Jason and Luiz, for helping make our trip so enjoyable.

The food and the drinks were amazing! Great atmosphere with excellent service from the staff. We were in Denver to visit family and the GM Jenna gave us some great recommendations for places to visit. We will definitely be staying here again. The downtown location was perfect for our itinerary.
Why Stay in Uptown
17th Avenue between downtown and City Park is one of the most underrated dining corridors in Denver. Uptown has been quietly great for years without making a big deal about it.
