Decent, but potentially forgettable. The Dan Dan noodles were requested spicy and had little to no spice. The Kung Pao noodles and the Sichuan Beef Brisket Noodle soup definitely stood out among the four (4) dishes, but the fourth was the Magic Beef Brisket noodle soup and had little flavor with zero spice. The quality of the noodles were quite good but the dishes, overall, lacked flavor. The portion side on the Dan Dan Noodles was quite small which is contrary to how American Chinese dishes are typically served. We ordered three (3) appetizers. The pork pan fried buns were fine. Mostly breading and the pork inside was just fine. Nothing special. The sichuan style shredded potato was… fine. Also nothing special. The pork soup dumplings were the best of the appetizers as I did enjoy those. I think my hunt for solid Chinese continues.

Noodles By Nina at 1400 E 17th Ave is an absolute standout in Denver’s food scene and an experience I’ll be thinking about for a long time. From the first sip to the last bite, everything felt intentional and special. I started with the Tiki Toki cocktail, a new flavor experience for me that completely won me over—toasted coconut–infused Toki whiskey blended beautifully with passion fruit, lemongrass, lime, and ginger. It was refreshing, balanced, and wildly memorable. The dumpling selection was fantastic, easily one of my favorite parts of the meal. The Iberico Pork Wontons in Magical Red Sea Sauce delivered exactly my kind of spice—bold and warming, yet perfectly balanced with deep, rich flavor rather than overpowering heat. For my entrée, I chose the Magic Beef Brisket Noodle Soup with hand-pulled noodles, and watching the chefs skillfully prepare the noodles through the large kitchen window added an extra layer of appreciation. The broth was comforting and robust, and the brisket was incredibly tender. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the hospitality. Owner Nina and my server Brandon made the evening feel welcoming, relaxed, and genuinely special. Their care and attentiveness paired seamlessly with the restaurant’s modern, calming atmosphere. This was easily one of the highlights of my culinary journey in Denver. I highly recommend arriving early—the place is always packed with happy eaters, and for very good reason.

Loved this spot! And I’m the person that flies to Vegas to eat at the famous Shang Artisan Noodle to try their hand-pulled noodles. These are just as good. Nina, the owner, is a kind, lovely woman you’ll see running around helping with every part of the restaurant. The rest of the staff are equally friendly and welcoming. The food is fantastic. My personal recommendations: some of the best pork dumplings in a spicy chili sauce I’ve had; whatever is in that black pepper beef fried rice is practically crack; and the star of the show is of course the beef noodle soup with amazing fresh noodles and the most tender beef in a flavorful broth. Nothing is bad, but those 3 are a must!

If you haven’t been to Noodles by Nina, you better go there NOW!!! I’ve been there multiple times since their soft opening, and I’m a big fan. I’m originally from Hong Kong, and not many Chinese restaurants in Denver meet my standards, even when others say how amazing they are. This place is bomb!! Their noodles are freshly made in-house, and you can see them through the glass window. So chewy and delicious!! I highly recommend the Braised Pork Belly Rice, Sichuan Beef Brisket Noodle Soup, Wonton in Chili Sauce, and Cucumber Salad to start. Honestly, everything is tasty. Expect a bit of a wait, but they move fast. The servers and owner are super friendly. Shoutout to Nina and Aaron, they always take great care of me. I’m going to keep bringing my friends here. =)
