Verbena Park

My kids (grade schoolers) loved this park when we visited we felt very safe and enjoyed our time. Kids playing at the soccer field, people walking dogs. It’s a great park beautiful!!! Also the park is legitimately fun!

Not glamorous, not a dive, more a cozy place with a slightly rumpled look. Why go? Great food, fair prices, friendly service. If you are new to Lebanese food, I recommend the Amir Combo- it's the lower picture on the menu. Enough leftover for a second meal. I'll be going back soon!

It’s our neighborhood park and our family enjoys it. It’s a nice, clean, and functional park, near other open space (which is great if you want to go on an extended walk). The city just remodeled the playground (Summer 2024), which is much nicer, and updated the basketball court (which gets plenty of bball and futsal use), and drainage around open space/kids soccer field. I love that the park gets regular use and that the diversity of the neighborhood is reflected at the park.

Went to this park on a whim after the bigger one nearby was closed for a race. I wouldn’t bring my child here ever again. There was a knife left on the play structure that I had to dispose of and the play structure itself falling apart and rusty. There are so many better options nearby.
