If you're on the hunt for a place to study or simply unwind with a cup of coffee, look no further. The cozy ambiance is like a warm embrace, with soft lighting and comfortable seating that allows you to settle in for hours. There's an abundance of space, so finding a quiet corner to focus on your work is never a problem. The calm atmosphere and soothing background music create the perfect backdrop for concentration. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. She is incredibly friendly! Coffee was excellent as well. Overall, a haven for those seeking a tranquil study spot. Love this place!

My partner visited this coffeeshop today, after he went to a library to go study and discovered it was closed. For context, he is in a very demanding part of life and next weekend he has to take two exams, so he was trying to study for them. However, the past 3 weeks have been very tolling on him mentally and emotionally, and he also had an exhausting weekend. All of that to say, after ordering his coffee, he ended up falling asleep instead of studying. Granted, I know this isn't a place to nap, but I don't think he was at fault for anything "wrong" and it was a natural response to the exhaustion. They abruptly woke him up by slapping the couch next to him (which came across as aggressive) and told him that he shouldn't be sleeping. The way it was handled came across as humiliating and hurtful. I'm also hoping there wasn't any racial discrimination affecting how they viewed this situation and handled it. I find it ironic that when looking at the basis and mission of the organization behind this coffeeshop, they share that they stand against shame, honor where people are at, be a light, show grace. In this situation, you missed the mark to treat people with dignity and care first.

I stumbled upon this place because I needed to work for a couple hours on wifi, and I am so glad I did! This is a great coffeehouse with a great cause, without the bustle of other neighborhood coffeeshops. The barista (a volunteer) was friendly. The coffee, roasted by the owner, was delicious. Plenty of seating in a welcoming space. Go here!
