Lucile’s on Logan is a true Denver gem. It’s a family-run spot with multiple locations, and they consistently serve up incredible gumbo, biscuits, beignets, and some of the best Bloody Marys around. They recently hosted their second annual Mardi Gras & Mardi Paws celebration in collaboration with Ella’s Events, and it was such a fun, festive experience. Between the DJ, tarot card readings, and hands-down the best puppy parade I’ve ever seen, it was the perfect community event. When I first moved to Denver, Lucile’s on Logan was one of the very first places I tried. I immediately fell in love with the patio and firepit—it meant I could bring my dog, Kameron MacMiller, stay warm, and feel right at home. I ordered the gumbo, and it came with a biscuit and homemade jam that instantly reminded me of my grandma’s cooking. That experience alone helped convince me to move to the Wash Park area. Monica and Jersey were some of my first friendly faces in the neighborhood, and that hospitality has stuck with me ever since. I love the family- and pet-friendly vibes here, and special events like Mardi Gras are such a great way to bring the community together, create memories, and build real connections with neighbors. Lucile’s isn’t just a restaurant—it’s part of the neighborhood.

Born and raised in Louisiana I’m always looking for restaurants that can give me a taste of home. The beignets here were as close to Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans as I feel I can get. The omelette and potatoes had very little seasoning but I added my own which honestly I prefer instead of something being overly salty. The gravy was delicious and went well with my biscuit and I added some on my potatoes. Will definitely be back with the family.
