My partner and I absolutely love Max Gill and Grill, especially for their tiki Tuesday deals! The food is excellent and so are the cocktails, all reasonably priced. It gets very busy if you go too late on Tiki Tuesday so be warned! We love this place even not on the days it is offering specials. It has a wide variety of menu options, the seafood tastes fresh. There is really something for everyone! The atmosphere also makes you feel like you are not in Denver but instead on a tropical island vacation. Such a fun place! I especially recommend the ceviche, fish tacos, and snapper sandwiches. Highly recommend cannot say enough good things about this place on their happy hour and regular days great place to take someone. They do usually have a deal everyday though of some kind!

The vibe is great. Lots of indoor seating, with outdoor seating as well. We came here for entrees and a couple drinks. The drinks were good. We had the Max Cioppino and the Grilled Swordfish. The cioppino was lacking flavor and tasted like a frozen seafood mix. The grilled swordfish was better, but still felt lackluster. The server seemed to be running around but it didn't seem that busy. I might return to try oysters and appetizers but I wouldn't recommend coming for entrees. Way too spendy for what you get.

A must visit if you are in Denver. The staff are warm and inviting, the atmosphere is cozy, the food is intentional. You’ll never have a bad experience here! Grilled oysters on the appetizer menu are a must. Also the cioppino on the entrées. They have an incredible white Negroni. Highly recommend.

Came here for the oysters and happy hour and was satisfied for sure! Their oysters come with saltine crackers, which I've not had in Colorado. I liked that added touch. I also really loved their clam chowder soup too. So delicious and flavorful! We had their cheesecake too and wow was that tasty. Cozy atmosphere, great happy hour deals, delicious food, and wonderful service! Husband had their fish and chips and their slaw was kinda odd tasting... Maybe needed some more salt? Still delicious.
