Such a sweet little experience! This would be great for anyone with kids, especially at Christmas time! We did have fun though! With our booking( and I can’t remember which class we rode) we were given a complimentary Hickory Farms meat and cheese set to enjoy during our ride! Plus, they served some really good alcoholic beverages…we had some rum spiced apple cider! It really warmed you up! Overall, a fun time!

We booked this train ride for a family outing during our wedding weekend in October. We booked the trick or treat ride because we had some younger kids in our group. I definitely recommend buying tickets in advance as they sell out. We picked up tickets at will call and got in line and waited about 10 minutes before it was our turn to board. They have a professional photo opportunity as you're boarding which was $25 for 2 copies. We had a large group of 25 and when boarding we were able to sit in the same area. We chose the exposed section to sit in so our view wouldn't be obstructed. The weather was chilly but nothing uncomfortable. The views were beautiful and the history was interesting. It was a very slow relaxing, scenic ride that everyone in our group enjoyed. When we made it up the mountain we were able to get off and explore the area for about 20 minutes. We were able to shop in a little store, use the bathroom, and take a look at the museum. When getting back on the train to head back we weren't able to sit together since people had taken our original seats. When we arrived back to the station the kids were able to do some trick or treating and get their faces painted which they really enjoyed. They also had a hot chocolate stand that was nice with the chilly weather. Overall it was a nice experience we got to share with our families. We would definitely return when back in town.

Such a cute and magical experience! We even had a surprise guest ,Santa himself! The train ride offers beautiful mountain views and a cozy holiday vibe. Once your tour is done, don’t forget to stop by Mrs. Claus’ station for free hot cocoa, candy canes, jingle bells, and cookies. A perfect festive outing for families and kids! 🎄✨

Fantastic adventure! It’s not just a ride around mountains, it’s a very atmospheric tour, even if you’re not a kid lol. Yesterday me and my husband had a trip, and I literally dove into some kind of fairy tale. There is a gift shop, and I bought a beautiful Christmas tree decoration… the staff is very friendly and nice. Santa was walking along the train greeting everybody and letting take a picture with him. Try to purchase your tickets in advance, because this thing is very popular.
