Garner Hotel Denver Airport Area by IHG

After my flight was canceled, I ended up staying at Garner Denver Airport Hotel, and it was exactly what I needed. It seems to be a popular choice for travelers dealing with flight cancellations, so the lobby can get a little busy. Even with the steady flow of guests, the staff handled everything with patience, professionalism, and kindness. Check-in was quick, straightforward, and I was in my room in no time. The room itself was very clean, comfortable, and perfect for an overnight stay. It’s not a luxury hotel, nor does it pretend to be—but it absolutely delivers where it matters. The bed was comfortable, everything felt well-kept, and, most importantly, the hotel felt clean. It wasn’t seedy, run-down, or grimy in the slightest. The hotel also offers a pool, a fitness room, and a complimentary breakfast in the morning, which are great perks, especially if you’re unexpectedly stuck overnight. They also provide a free airport shuttle, and if occupancy allows, they’ll gladly offer a late checkout. Even after checking out, they’ll securely store your luggage so you can head into Denver or explore the area without dragging your bags along. That extra flexibility made an already stressful travel day much easier. If you’re stranded because of a canceled flight or simply need an affordable, clean, and comfortable hotel near Denver International Airport, Garner is an excellent value. It’s welcoming, convenient, and exactly the kind of place you hope to find when travel doesn’t go according to plan.

Was booked here by an airline after a flight cancellation. Waited for several hours to check in just to be told my reservation wasn't valid. Airline confirmed this was the correct hotel and that they couldn't get ahold of the front desk or other customer service either, as I stood there on the side listening to their phone ringing constantly in a lobby packed with others in a similar situation (in addition to a line extending far out the front door). The lobby was unbearably hot and no water was available. When we asked the woman working at the front desk that the water dispenser was empty she shrugged and said "Oh, well." Left and booked a normal hotel to not deal with this nonsense.

Very poor customer service. Two rooms reservations was made by United airlines for me and my family, they called and made reservations and a confirmation number was given. When we went got to the hotel, the guy that was on duty I believe was racist he looked at my reservation and told me the hotel was fully booked and that the United airlines overlook the hotel. So he put me to the side and continue to check in others that we all came together so I went back to him and asked why he was discriminating, he got out and told me he was going to call the cops on me so I accepted for him to go ahead and make the call. I came to the hotel with 4 kids and my wife. As someone who works and own a customer service oriented business, I don't believe the guy is suited for the job. Even his coworker kept telling him in Spanish that they have availability why will he be telling me the hotel is overbooked by the airline. At the end his coworker was the one that finally gave us the two rooms that was reserved I will keep posting my review about this hotel I strongly recommend the hotel take action against such discrimination. God help us.
