Wingate by Wyndham Denver Airport

This hotel is sorta what you pay for. It’s in a great spot with a Mountain View for one positive. And another for a super nice shuttle to and from the airport. Now for the negatives , the light in the hall way shuts off the tv if you want the light off…. Idk how and why but it does. The fridge wasn’t turned on so we couldn’t put our food and drinks in it. Finally. The free breakfast had almost everything not working. I do think the view is worth If you’re staying for one night!

This is actually a City express by Marriott now. (4/21/2026) Mixed experience — great location, but room quality fell short I had a bit of a mixed stay here. On the positive side, the front desk staff was very friendly, and the lobby is lovely and spacious. The hotel is conveniently located in the same plaza as a Starbucks and several great restaurants (Mexican and Thai). I also appreciated that they accommodated an early check-in for me. However, there were several drawbacks: • Wait Times: I waited 15 minutes at the desk upon arrival as the clerk was assisting another guest. • Room Quality: My room on the first floor (despite my high-floor preference) smelled musky and showed wear, including scrapes on the walls and in the closet. The microwave was also uncleaned. • Noise & Tech: The soundproofing is poor; I could clearly hear guests stomping above me. Additionally, every channel on the TV had static, which I couldn't resolve by adjusting the cables. • Parking: The third-party parking app is a major hassle. I received a notification and charge attempt for a rental car days after I had already checked out and it charged my credit card. When I go to the app to remove my credit card, it won’t allow me. There is no number where you can dispute—you’re directed to an AI chat and there is no way of speaking to a human. I had to dispute charge with my credit card company. Too much of a hassle. You’re better off just getting a ticket. While the location is great, the room condition and parking logistics mean I likely won't be staying here again.

Clean room with a microwave and empty fridge, friendly staff. Very good value for money. Front desk gave good food recommendations around the hotel. Shuttle from hotel to airport is easy and fast. Ideal for layover if you don’t want to rough it on the airport grounds.

Great location near airport and restaurants and coffee shops. Nice clean and modern hotel. Pay for parking a bit unusual but they were very nice to comp me since I’m a Wyndham gold card member.
