Tamales by La Casita

Was pleasantly surprised on how good the food was here. I ordered 2 pork tamales and initially thought they didn't look very good. Glad I was wrong! Some of the best tamales I've ever had! I think a lot of the negative reviews are for things other than the tamales. They literally have tamales in their name. Get the tamales!

Absolutely the BEST place to eat at DIA (assuming you enjoy Mexican food)! I travel a lot, but I had never eaten here until today. I'm so glad I did! The food is SO fresh; the menu has a lot of variety; service is friendly, high quality, and quick; and the price is awesome (esp. considering it is in the airport). I will be eating here every time I travel now. Also, I must mention this extra fact: The general manager went out of his way to order a wheelchair for an elderly customer who needed one. Not only did the GM obtain the wheelchair successfully, but he himself wheeled the lady all the way to her gate! Amazing!! You gotta eat here!

Service was great. Employees were all nice, I didn’t receive any of that “rude” service that was in other reviews. We got the frito pie and the taco salad. Both were pretty decent for airport Mexican food. I think people need to lower their standards when comparing airport food to like popular franchises like Chipotle.

Workers are very nice and made me feel confident in my order. I got the taco bowl salad and it was GREAT!! Definitely not “authentic” Mexican food but definitely the best choice in Denver Airport and still taste very good!!
