Pub on Penn

There was not very many people in there, and there’s no wonder why. Not only did it take a while to get service, but they were rude about it. We are ordering with drinks, and it seem to be an inconvenience. They did not have any type of seltzer or twisted tea type of options. The best they could do was lemon vodka, and either lemonade or tea as a suggestion. Was not very clean in my opinion. I definitely will not be going back. The restroom was horrible and the door would not shut.

Despite the rating I do have affection for this bar. I adore the bartenders here. In the food is standard bar fair. But it's done right and you get a fair portion for the price. I guess it's fine as far as pool hall dives go. But I just don't like the atmosphere and lighting here. The side patio is definitely a saving grace. And the staff gives this place character.

I wrote a post about this bar awhile ago but removed it because I did not want to be a dick. This bar used to be my watering hole. Since the pandemic it has become a bar very stingy with its booze. To me, personally, its a place to watch a sporting event and drink ONLY BEER. I would also select menu items that don't include protein like FRIES or if you are not finicky maybe a CORN DOG. Peace out.

I live close by and if i'm hungry.This is a great place to go. Portions are a lot, so you get your money's worth service is great and there's not much else you can ask for. Plus it's in a prime location
