This is legitimately excellent BBQ with generous portions, genuinely kind staff, and creative sides like smoked ranch dip and queso-loaded fries that make it worth a road trip.

I finally tried Belly Brothers BBQ today, my husband had it once before with some co-workers and while we live a good 45 Mins away, we never mind a drive and always are on the hunt for new favorites and I was excited to try this, so off we went. The parking is free in their lot and we parked behind the building (enter through the front) and you walk by their smoker and it smelled amazing. Once inside, there are a few tables and chairs along with a counter style seating along the front window, too. We were warmly greeted by the very kind young lady at the front, and I ordered the smoked wings with mac and cheese, and my husband got the brisket sandwich with mac and cheese. We also shared a side of waffle fries because I will search high and low for the best Mac and cheese while my husband has a love for fries in any size, shape and seasoning. We sat watching enviously as the table next to us got their food and we vowed next time to try the queso loaded fries because, seriously, wow! their queso was the perfect combination of that melted cheese goodness you strive for at home and never quite get right. The portions are impressive, they do not skimp on any of it! The queso loaded fries looked amazing so now we have our next order already lined up. Our food arrived, the wait time wasn’t bad at all, and everything was hot, fresh, flavorful, and the portions were perfect. The best part (besides the food) was the staff, they were all so kind and went above and beyond. They even offered us a banana pudding to try, and I had no idea how much I loved banana pudding until today… and now I can already tell it’s going to be a constant craving for me. You’ll need a couple friends to help you because even with two of us, we barely made a dent in it, the portion is impressive. I won’t do it justice but here’s a description- Creamy banana pudding covers vanilla wafer cookies and is topped with whipped cream and crumbles of Reece’s peanut butter cup. I have to share the irony of me being someone who doesn’t love BBQ sauce but loves smoked meats, and so many places, this one included, do offer a sauce that isn’t a traditional BBQ sauce, as they have Dill Ranch for the wings and a honey mustard inspired Carolina Gold sauce that was quite good. If you’re thinking about trying Belly Brothers, don’t think, just GO. The food is amazing, the service is even better, and I already can’t wait to come back.

What a wonderful establishment! We are from Kansas City and have been looking for quality BBQ to satisfy our cravings. This is it for us! We started our adventure with BBBB via their food truck and fell in love. When we heard they were opening a store front we were excited and knew we needed to continue to support this great business. The people are all so kind and genuinely care if you had a good meal. Tips: -The seating area is limited so be prepared to maybe need to take your meal to go. -the banana pudding has peanut butter cups in it. We liked it but know that twist isn’t for everyone! -try all the sauces on the table to find your perfect fit! -the burnt ends are absolutely worth the extra cost We are excited to continue to come and try the rest of their menu. Everything we have had so far has been delightful!

What a pleasant surprise this place was! Flew in from Dallas for my son’s birthday, and he really wanted brisket…we got a little bit of everything! Brisket, burnt ends, smoked chicken, grandma’s Mac n cheese, okra, chicken strips… it was all so freakin good! Got to meet the owner. Such an experienced cooked! Love their story of how much the business has grown! Makes since, the food speaks for itself! He hooked the boy up with nana’s pudding for a birthday treat! This place does not disappoint!

Just moved from Texas and I’ve been CRAVING a good BBQ for months. This place hit the spot. Would totally hold its own in Texas. Brisket and wings were both awesome (definitely get the fatty brisket over the lean) and the seasoned waffle fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. I’m typically not a fan of pie but we tried their deep fried apple pie and it was insane. Like a gourmet toaster strudel or a glazed Apple empanada. Charlize was SO kind and helpful. Good people working here. Will definitely be back!!
