Wow. Just wow. This place absolutely knocked it out of the park. Every single dish we ordered was bursting with its own unique, memorable flavor — nothing felt repetitive or expected. Truly one of those meals where you keep saying, “Okay, this might be my favorite… no wait, THIS one is.” The atmosphere was just as incredible as the food: warm, inviting, eclectic in all the best ways, and instantly comfortable. It felt like the kind of place you want to linger, talk, and enjoy every bite. Everything we ordered was a solid 10/10, but I have to give a special shoutout to the calamari — hands down some of the best I’ve had. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and impossible to stop eating. The service was impeccable, especially for our first visit. We felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of from start to finish. The only tiny “issue” (and I say that jokingly) was that we ordered extra chips and I was secretly hoping to take those home 😄 — but it’s okay, maybe our server was just looking out for my waistline. We will absolutely be back. This place is a gem, and the experience from food to service to atmosphere was nothing short of fantastic. One thing I would recommend is validating parking for Your patrons.

Looks can be deceiving. What began as an incredible experience with some handmade tortilla chips and mouthwatering salsa transformed into a disappointing meal. My tacos, as seen in the picture, resembled tortillas with some meat, while my daughter’s quesadillas were devoid of any salt. My son’s chicken breast, grilled straight from the grill, wasnt seasoned to perfection. Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed with this place. The servers were incredibly friendly, and the manager was equally pleasant. However, the food definitely needs improvement, especially considering the high prices. I left a positive review on this platform. Our meal was not pleasant, and I appreciate the gesture of taking the food off the bill. However, I couldn’t bring myself to return again. We had just arrived from a long flight from Atlanta, and this was our first meal of the day. Unfortunately, we had to leave and find another place to eat.

Sol Cocina absolutely delivers on what you want a night out to feel like—relaxed, polished, and indulgent. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, especially in the evening, with a vibe that encourages you to slow down and actually enjoy the experience rather than rush through it. The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and well-timed. I ordered the Pollo Volcano, and it was exactly what the name promises. Rich, flavorful, and finished with a wild cheese pull that deserves its own spotlight—properly melted, not greasy, and layered over tender chicken with real depth of flavor. The chips and salsa were another standout. They use whole tortillas, which makes a noticeable difference—heartier, fresher, and more satisfying. The red salsa was bold and well-balanced, and there was a darker salsa that tasted like a black bean–based salsa: earthy, savory, and a great contrast to the brighter red. They have a large drink menu, with plenty of options whether you’re in the mood for cocktails, tequila, or something lighter. It’s the kind of place where ordering a second round actually feels justified. Bottom line: great atmosphere, genuinely good service, and food that earns the “chef’s kiss.” Sol Cocina is an easy recommendation if you’re in Cherry Creek and want a meal that feels like an experience, not just dinner.

From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was amazing. Thomas was hands down the best server! So attentive and full of great recommendations. The margaritas were SO good. Jess, one of the managers, also stopped by and was fantastic. You can tell the team truly cares. We’ll definitely be back!
