I came in for lunch today to try this barbecue joint, I’ve never heard of it or seen it until today and as some of you may know, I like to try every barbecue place that’s not a chain in the Denver and outside regions. I got the two meat plate which online looks like it came with sides, but upon going inside, you actually have to pay for all the sides. I decided to do the 1/8 chicken and 1/8 pork combo and a side of beans. I also got the peach cobbler. The two gentlemen were very friendly, they unfortunately don’t have a military discount. The price wasn’t bad overall, I spend just under $18. The chicken was amazing and flavorful, the pork unfortunately is very dry but does have a nice flavor to it, I didn’t get bbq sauce and wish I had remembered. The beans are good, if you don’t eat them fast they get clumpy and thick but they still have a good flavor to them as well. Smoky and spice flavor. The peach cobbler was very good, they delivered on the peaches for me, but I didn’t try some of the pastry crust and it wasn’t bad, had a homemade pop tart flavor to it.

We popped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon after reading the Google reviews. There’s a parking lot right by the front door, which makes getting in easy. You have the option of counter service downstairs or full service upstairs. We chose full service. Upstairs has a full bar and a covered open-air seating area, and we were the only ones up there! The breeze made it a very pleasant spot to relax. Now for the food: the coleslaw was exactly my kind of slaw, creamy mayo goodness, just the way I like it. I wasn’t a fan of the mac and cheese; it had that Velveeta-style cheese, which isn’t for me, though my partner enjoyed it. The brisket was decent but chopped, I personally prefer it in larger chunks. We also tried the rib tips based on the hype but wished we had skipped them. The bones made them awkward to eat, and it might just be a regional favorite we didn’t quite enjoy or understand. Added bonus: there’s a bar with a variety of sauces to choose from. Overall, it’s worth stopping in, but we’d recommend picking and choosing menu items based on your personal preferences.

I can't believe I've missed this place. Bbq is outstanding, and portions are huge!. Ua friendly. Beer and drinks are very reasonable 👌. Spend $14 for dinner.... try to finish it! So much better than Daves. Not to far from Sheraton. Well worth the walk. Bartender and cooks are very friendly and helpful! Good selection of draft beers. Bbq is fantastic! The staff from the boys downstairs to the bartender upstairs are helpful, Friendly, and engaging!

Great food, nice people. My husband heard them struggling to understand a order so my husband went and interpreted. He's a medical interpreter so it was no problem. And they hooked us up with a delicious rib and gave us a discount on the Peach Cobbler. Will be back soon
