Ballmer Peak Distillery - Green Mountain

So I was looking for something that was close to home and a good way to kill time since I had work the next day, but just got paid and wanted to enjoy myself on a Saturday. That’s when I was shocked to find there’s a distillery in Lakewood. I decided I’d risk it and come in and see if they’re any good…. I was not disappointed. I got 3 drinks so I wouldn’t be too tipsy but could still have a good time. The coffee, god and cigarettes has a good mix of bitterness and sweetness, both light and flavorful. The tobacco is definitely on the tongue at the end but not overwhelming. Overall a good drink The old fashioned taste like a traditional old fashioned despite non traditional flavors: somehow the rum taste more like a traditional whiskey than their white whiskey (tastes like a scotch) and the aged rum tastes more like a traditional whiskey than their white whiskey. So overall it’s delicious if you like old fashions Finally I got a Serrano Cucumber Gimlet which has a nice cucumber ring, not overly spicy. A fine unique take on the gimlet. I don’t have much to say but I really enjoyed it as a cucumber lover, heavy on the cucumber and a bit light on the spice but still enjoyed it! Overall the vibes are great, the bartender Cameron was very knowledgeable about the drinks here and I didn’t have a single bad drink. This is a great hidden gem than I recommend stopping by and supporting!

Fantastic cocktails! Regular menu as well as rotating seasonal selection of drinks, and genuinely awesome staff. There is comfortable seating at the bar, couple boots and tables, excellent five-star spot and one of the best distilleries in the area.

Love having Ballmer in the neighborhood! Cocktails are wonderful and the inside is so cozy. I’m doing Dry January and they have a phenomenal N/A menu going right now!

Good selection of cocktails and so far they’re all amazing!! Great presentation, and wonderful well balanced mix of flavors! And they do also the special cocktail of the week. Friendly staff and food truck outside (not sure what days, on a Friday is there).
