I rarely leave negative reviews, but after multiple stays at this Extended Stay property in Lakewood, I feel compelled to share my experience so that management and future guests are aware of the issues. The most concerning problem is the treatment I have repeatedly received from the front desk employee named Anna. Her attitude toward guests has consistently been dismissive and unprofessional. During my most recent interaction, I politely asked to speak with a manager regarding a concern. I could hear her manager in the back, yet Anna refused to allow me to speak with her and instead told me that if I was unhappy, I could simply leave. That type of response is extremely disappointing from someone representing the front desk of a hospitality business. Unfortunately, this has not been a one-time incident—her demeanor has been consistently unpleasant, and it has become something I genuinely dread dealing with whenever I stay here. Beyond the customer service issues, the hotel’s housekeeping policies and room conditions are also problematic. Guests are not provided regular cleaning service; instead, housekeeping only occurs roughly every two weeks. If you want fresh linens or towels sooner, you are expected to pay for them. Expecting guests to use the same towels for that length of time is unreasonable for any hotel, regardless of price point. The rooms themselves are also underwhelming and feel poorly maintained. While they are advertised as having kitchenettes, they come with no utensils or basic kitchen items. For the price being charged, the accommodations feel extremely low-end. Additionally, the floors often appear not to have been swept or mopped prior to check-in. A quick walk around the room in bare feet makes this very obvious—you’ll likely notice how dirty they become almost immediately, which raises questions about the cleanliness standards. Between the poor customer service experience and the condition of the rooms, this location feels significantly overpriced for what is provided. Unless meaningful improvements are made to both guest relations and cleanliness standards, I will likely choose to stay elsewhere in the future.

Anna was lovely. I usually feel like there is a rush to get everything out of the way and, "Thank You, Next."; however, Anna has the disposition and potential(she is much younger) Mrs. Potts. Everyone waited patiently and comfortably: two couples, a Delivery Man, and a single person. She also called me an hour after I checked-in to make sure I had been provided with everything I need and she is just as professionally enjoyable over the phone. I hope she got home safe from this quick-dropped Winter.

Anna is absolutely miserable to deal with, one of the most disrespectful and dishonest people I have ever worked with in any professional capacity let alone in hospitality. She also has an incredibly unprofessional appearance. The experience we had on the lobby is enough to knock extended stay off of our list of potential long distance stay location. This was a disgusting misinterpretation of Colorado, as well as the Denver area as a whole. I will certainly not be recommending this hotel franchise to anyone out of fear they will meet with another “Anna”. Clearly the employment process wasn’t up to any logical standards...

The front desk is accommodating and pleasant. Any needs were addressed immediately. The hotel itself is quiet and clean. There’s a Denny’s across the street. There are also restaurants of many different varieties nearby within a half mile to mile, so you won’t have a hard time satisfying your taste buds.
