Green belt surrounds is a great park. On the heart of Lakewood, with trails and beautiful landscapes. I have usually biked a lot since 2008 on this trail, BCT to Platte River trail, and conect to Cherry Creek trail. Great loop around the city. Also, in some parts, we see people walk and enjoy the surrounding area. Others ride a horse around on BCT by the creek. I loved the shade and the peace, We can connect with the Highline Canal. On Wadsworth... Any direction has beauty and surprises for outdoor enthusiastic and enjoyment.... Close by you can enjoy the city of Morrison with great restaurants and entertainment for the roll family. Bike, running, fishing, Pick nick areas. Playgrounds. Soccer field. Also, close by, we have the City of Golden. This place is great to entertain and great parks and tours... Market place on the weekend. I have some pictures

3 stars because of the lack of shade....unless you are at the stone house proper or down by the river you will be fried by the sun. It's a great spot to start a walk down Bear Creek though. My dog loves that creek!

This a large, lovely place to walk with your dog or your grandchildren, or anyone!. The maps directions were a bit off, but I found the entrance and parking easily enough anyways . Like a peaceful oasis in lakewood!
