Mr. Taco

What a fantastic find! I decided to try Mr. Taco since a lot of the reviews were positive. Plus, anytime there’s tacos in a gas station, I’m intrigued. I ordered Quesabirrias, and they were phenomenal! I highly recommend eating a bite where you add the onions & cilantro inside, squeeze a lime on top, dip in the broth, and dip in the green sauce. It tastes like magic😋 I put one star for atmosphere, but I wasn’t expecting atmosphere from tacos served in a gas station. But it looks like they had a nice patio for when it’s warm.

Don't let that the restaurant being attached to the gas station scare you away. I was shocked that the food was amazing! The birria tacos were the best I've had, hot, flavorful, and juicy. The special torta was amazing, tasty and crunchy. I loved everything. The staff was very friendly and brought our food out to us. Overall it was a great experience. I will definitely go back.

Mr.Taco is the best Mexican in the area hands down! They are also super fast! One time I ordered when I got there and waited like 6 minutes for my food. So delicious! It’s definitely a hole in the wall take out place (connected to a gas station), but the food is so worth it! Keeps well on the drive home too! We go at least one time per month.

What in the California Burrito is this? This is their carne asada? The carne asada looks like the thin steak you would put a Philly cheesesteak. Call this whatever you want but don't call it a California Burrito. Fries were soggy, salsas were both mid. Hard pass!
