Going to monkey island was the pinicaly of my Colorado trip experience. Seeing all of the monkeys nest was truly amazing. I was talking to the keeper of the island snd she says that she rents it out to Alfeba and her flying monkeys when they need a nice mountain get away in denver. Truly amazing to meet the monkeys and how nice they were to my kids. They are recruiting so if you know anyone that would be interested send them here. Would recommend for anyone wanting to visit the beautiful momkeys.

Sadly the monkeys are away on vacation to Florida this week. The Canadian Geese were plentiful and very vocal. Without the monkeys keeping them in line the geese can be quite roudy.

We found the nest of monkey island. Only taking off one star because of a park ranger not helping a bird stuck in a fishing line. Was 100% accessible but "it was too difficult" (bird was saved by a bystander)

We wished the monkeys farewell before they left for the annual winter vacation in Florida. They waved from the island and seemed to be in great spirits.
