RPO FRAMING AND GALLERY

I produce events all over town with my FirePower Productions organization, promoting local artists and bringing live art to unexpected venues. I had the pleasure of working with Robert Platz (owner of RPO Framing and Gallery) during 2 events this last holiday season, along with joining him during one of his gallery openings. I have nothing but respect and admiration for this guy and the space he’s created. He is a true community builder, artist and emissary of local arts! His eye for talent, his eye for matting and framing, his joy in community from poetry readings to live music to racing watch parties… he’s just a true jewel for the art community in Denver. If you’re looking for new work in your space or have been waiting for the perfect moment to frame that treasured piece, you’d be doing yourself a disservice not swinging by RPO Framing and Gallery first… plus, it’ll save ya the time and headache of shopping anywhere else!

I am about 4 years overdue for this review but we moved in the last year and I’m rehanging a bunch of prints I got framed here. I had such a wonderful experience, I really recommend it. I had 3 prints framed and I really had no idea what I wanted done design wise. I also was working with a limited budget as I was a DU grad student at the time. Bob asked some questions about what the decor of our home was like/ were there any limitations etc. I basically left all the decisions to him and was sooo glad I did. The 3 frames I got back were so cool and complimented each print super well. Way cooler than anything I would have picked myself! Highly recommend!

Bob is simply the best!! I am a longtime repeat customer. From my most prized art possessions to the neighborhood kids’ drawings to my favorite vintage finds — he helps me select and frame my art to create the perfect pieces. He never tries to upsell you and will also let you pick from frame remnants if you are open to other people’s selections (I love a secondhand score and keeping my waste footprint down). Bob is a quality craftsman so make sure to allocate enough time and budget to get what you want. It is worth every penny! Enjoy the magic that is RPO Framing!
