I was excited to come back to Carne - the first time, the food was actually pretty tasty. Tonight, I was happy to see they are now a Black Bird Restaurant - I fly for $FLY! We didn't have a reservation, so it seemed difficult to be seated. The hostess insinuated that there was only ONE table open, as she looked at her tablet. We were urged to sit at the bar - but 2 hours into our visit, the restaurant was still mostly empty. That was disappointing. But, Tiffany, the bartender, was super kind and welcoming. She did a great job 👏🏽 Even other servers who were passing by us were friendly. I ordered the Picanha, which will always be my go-to if it's on the menu. I ordered it a notch above medium - unfortunately, it came out to me well-done. The chimichurri was excellent though. 👌🏽 I enjoyed the risotto, and the warm bread loaf. My friend loved her spinach dip. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will return. But, next time, I will make a reservation - again, it seems to have been a problem that we didn't have one. I am very glad that they are a Black Bird restaurant, however. As a Denver foodie, it greatly affects my decision-making in dining options. Would I recommend it to friends? Sure!

First time here, the food was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend the filet or the smoked bison. The fries were seasoned to perfection. Omar was our server and they were SO attentive and helpful. They recommended the blueberry & lime cider. Absolutely exceptional. Recommend for a date night.

Our waitress, Dani, was incredible! Very friendly and on top of our order. The Brazilian Picanha was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. We also loved their chimichurri. We will definitely be back!

Ordered two steaks. The New York strip and the bison. Requsted mid rare, but the New York was closer to mid rare as the bison was not. Overall the food tasted good. They have dry rubs which were very distinct and flavourful. I was very disappointed in the risotto. Severely overcooked which made the rice soggy and to top it off was pretty bland. There was one bar tender at the time we went, so drinks took a bit of time before we received them. Seating is kind of a messy cluster. Sat way more than close enough to hear other customers speaking, as they heard us as well. Staff was super nice, polite helpful. The real issue for the shortfall is little things here and there. I had made a reservation, but this is not a place for that. Personally okayest, not bad but not good.
