We are not vegan or vegetarian and we thought this restaurant was AMAZING! We had the small plates - squash bisque and Brussels sprouts. Both were excellent. We also had the Rueben and Burger. I had the small Caesar salad with my burger and it was one of the best Caesar salads I’ve ever had . My husband had the fries with his Rueben. Can’t believe we haven’t been there before and waited until they were nominated for a James Beard award. Silly us. Don’t be scared off if you aren’t vegan. This place is excellent. We will definitely be back. Oh and the staff is excellent. Thanks Joey and Javier and congratulations to Rocky the chef for the nomination! Well deserved Oh one thing to note. If you are walking inside of Edgewater Marketplace, the sign over the restaurant says Plants Forever .

We love the people and the food at Gladys. I'm a meat eater most days. When I head to Gladys, I don't miss the meat. The food is next level delicious. . . Beautiful presentation and deliciousness on a plate. My wife and I are working our way through everything on the menu. My personal favorite is the bisque. I also loved the Po Boi. And, for someone who doesn't do chocolate chip cookies, I took one bite of their chocolate chunk cookie and proceeded to eat a full half I ended up sharing with my wife. I initially got turned on to this restaurant when a leftover half a Reuben showed up in my home fridge. I took one bite and proceeded to eat the whole thing. Service is personable. And, the chefs know how to handle veggies extremely well.

Soooo good! Easily the best brussel sprouts I've had anywhere and I like brussel sprouts. You can really tell how much pride they take in their food because every bite is crafted to perfection. Never knew chocolate mousse could be served like that but now that I do, every other chocolate mousse will be compared to it.

From their seasonal, gourmet-style burger patties to the incredibly flavorful spinach artichoke flatbreads, everything was simply out of this world. You can truly taste the care and creativity in every bite, fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and beautifully presented dishes. What made this visit even more special was the brilliant service by Joey—such a sweetheart. The team was attentive, warm, and welcoming throughout. The Chef was kind enough to personally explain the dishes to us, which added such a thoughtful and memorable touch to the experience. We also truly appreciated their whole vibe the strong focus on vegan and vegetarian offerings, an impressive zero-proof drink menu, and their conscious effort toward eco-friendly, sustainable practices. From thoughtfully chosen dinnerware to glass bottles and proper glassware for serving water, every detail reflects intention and responsibility. It’s refreshing to see a restaurant that combines elevated cuisine with sustainability and heart. Highly recommend, and we’re definitely looking forward to going back!
