And absolutely gorgeous Park with a wonderful trail that goes on from miles. The lake is Serene beautiful, It's not very shaded so definitely expect some sun if you're going during the summer or Spring. I also highly recommend this place as a detour around the stupid country club that cuts directly into Cherry Creek trail. You'll have to drive through one of Denver's older and more historic neighborhoods so if you're more of a nature person than an architecture person this may not appeal to you. However the people here are always friendly, walking their dogs, teaching their kids to appreciate nature, And enjoying the wide open paved trail. I wish more parks actually had what this one had which is a fast lane and a slow lane. This dramatically cuts down on the amount of anger and frustration I can sometimes feel when these places get crowded. I use my bike primarily for transportation around Denver and the areas about. It can get annoying when the good weather finally comes out and all the people show up. It kinda of feels like I said an invasion. Thankfully this is one of the few places where folks seem to have a consistent respect for the area.

Nice area, had picnic with two dogs. My only negative is that there is no restroom in the area.
