Had a great experience at American Lore! The hat-making experience was fantastic, they really don’t push you to spends more than you want, which I appreciated. You can customize the hat material, color and shape. And then you can add branding like initials or various logos/shapes, ribbons, belts, etc. We had made an appointment, but I don’t think it’s necessary unless you go in when they are super busy. I highly recommend stopping in on a Friday or Saturday night to check out the live music! After making out hats, we hung out at the bar and drank some tequila cocktails (would recommend the “Regal Outlaw” if you like tequila), ate some bar nut mix and enjoyed the music. Such a gem of a spot on Tennyson!!

This place is SO COOL!! Get a hat designed specifically for you and get a yummy cocktail while doing it! Went here on a Sat afternoon and it was packed! LIVE music Fri & Sat too! Great service, get hat and accessory options to choose from (hats, bands, hat jewelry), overall 10 out of 10! 👏👏👏

I love this new spot on Tennyson! It’s so cute inside and the price of the drinks are great. $4 beers is crazy! I highly recommend stopping in just to hang out even if you are not planning on buying a hat. Also great place to have private events / custom hat party. My favorite drink is the caffeine cowgirl and for those who don’t drink try the zero rodeo lemonade.

The place we didn't know we needed. Fantastic vibe, nice & knowledgeable hat makers, but also a great place to hang out and have a drink even if you don't get a hat. Live music on Fridays and Saturdays is an AWESOME touch - exactly what Tennyson St. needed!
