I went in late October. Had I gone in the spring or summer, my four star rating might gave been five stars. In late October a lot of plants had died and dried up. There was still some nice areas to view. My visit was rushed because the gardens were closing early for a Halloween function. The bonsai trees were my favorite area with the Japanese gardens coming in second.

What cool place. It's not that large but feels huge due to how much they pack in. Super interesting plants everywhere you look. I especially liked the bonsai area and the water features. This is a great place to spend a few hours. We took about 2 to go through it. It could be done quickly in an hour or you could take time and be there for 3+ if you wanted.

Went there in the middle of winter and still plenty to look at indoors. The orchids were insanely beautiful and diverse! Also huge tropical forest under glass which was humid and warm (very welcoming in the winter!)

I've visited probably 6 different botanical gardens in different cities. This is by far my favorite to date. It is a huge property. So many different themed areas. You can spend hours wandering around. There are several greenhouse/tropical areas. It was a really great experience. Highly recommended well worth the visit
