We had intended to try monks Indian, but they were closed so we came here instead. So glad we did. Very accommodating to my service dog and request for a half booth. I had the black dragon and hubby had the Philly. A large sake completed the home run. Everything was absolutely delicious and our server Wendy was a doll keeping drinks refilled and just the right amount of checking in. Would definitely recommend. As an aside we loved the music they were playing.

I first visited Sakura when searching for a good sushi spot in greater Denver that wasn't overpriced, and it quickly became one of my favorites! I've heard colleagues cite other restaurants as the "best" but I've found that the most popular ones tend to have smaller menus with much higher prices. I've found Sakura to be a great combination of selection, price, and fresh quality/taste. I've ordered a number of sushi rolls in my visits and have always thought they appeared and tasted like quality ingredients. My only complaint is that the Philadelphia roll routinely falls apart with handling, but I haven't had the same issue with others. The sushi is often presented on a unique platter, and it can be fun wondering what I'll get each time I go. I've ordered a few non-roll items and was similarly impressed. The Spicy Crispy Tuna is amazing and a new favorite. I've tried the Tokotsu Ramen which was also good. I've had both edamame options and miso soup, both of which are on-par for what I've come to expect for taste and quality. My opinion of the restaurant ambience when dining in has been positive overall. I've rarely seen more than another two or three other parties dining, so it often feels semi-private and quiet (with the exception of one very busy Valentine's Day). The decorations are cute and cohesive, as is the dishware. The building is a bit awkward, with some tables around corners, some furniture implying the space is a little cramped for their needs, and the tall ceilings revealing ductwork posing a bit of an unfinished look. There are a few TVs that can sometimes be distracting with conflicting music. I think the seating and tabletops could be upgraded, as they are covered with mats that don't quite fit perfectly. The two bathrooms are spacious and modern though. I've only ordered takeout once and the order came in a durable, above-average quality tote bag. Sometimes I've noticed deals on takeout only, which I wish were offered to patrons dining in as I prefer it. They often have specials like BOGO toro or Godzilla Roll, but I haven't seen those change in the months I've been visiting.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In my search for new local restaurants after moving to a new state, I stumbled across this sushi spot and wow, I’m glad I did! The vibe is relaxed and welcoming. The tables are close together, so it wouldn’t be my place for a super private conversation but it worked in our favor since we ended up meeting some really great people! Prices are standard for quality sushi, and the daily specials are a huge bonus. The food? Absolutely worth it. Even something simple like their tempura vegetables was incredible—the batter was light, flavorful, and unforgettable. We ordered two large rolls, 8 pieces of sashimi, and 8 pieces of sushi, and savored every single bite. The scallop and fish were especially top-notch, with fresh flavors that matched exactly what we were hoping for. Service was attentive and friendly, even though we came in within the last 90 minutes of service. Big points for that! I’d highly recommend this place for a date night or an evening out with friends. It’s a little tight for my (wild) kids, but if your crew eats out with kids often, it’s definitely doable.

Very nice sushi place. The food was good and portions were generous. Sometimes they have buy one get one specials. Delicious otoro, salmon and tuna. Loved their spicy garlic edamame! Really love the pretty and pink decor styling. I do wish they offered cocktails or sake to go with the sushi.
