EL TEQUILEÑO Family Mexican Restaurant

We got fajitas for 2. The fajitas were good the meat was very tender and very well seasoned but the side of rice and beans were not good, the rice seemed like it was days old and the beans were just reheated. Also the chip salsa tasted like it was store bought, it tasted like marinara sauce. Service was a little slow but the atmosphere was calm and alright.

Chili con queso is soOoo delicious as a starter, a must! Dinner- carne asada y mas is an absolute must! It’s perfect every damn time!! Eat here- you’re not going to regret it!

I ordered carry out online. When I came in to pick it up, as I was walking to the car, I started to think maybe they gave me someone else's order… It seemed way too heavy for what I ordered. I was wrong. They just have really great healthy portions. The food is excellent. I'll probably eat there every night while I am in Denver.

The food was good! I ordered the seafood soup. It was stove hot and loaded with seafood. Then I orded a alcoholic drink and it was strong. The menu was so heavy, it was like a book. I want to try everything on the menu. I will be back.
