How this is written: we run the full set of recent Google reviews through AI to pull out what guests consistently say — including the complaints, which is why there's a downsides list rather than only the good bits. It's rewritten as new reviews come in, so it describes the hotel as it is now, not as it was whenever someone last got round to writing a paragraph about it. Read the reviews yourself on Google Maps.

Wonderful little place. We had the chicken saltado and veggie plate. Loved that I could make a healthy vegan meal here! But also had the option to try some new things. The chimichurri was fantastic. Very homemade, and in a 100% perfect, I want that sauce every day kind of way. All the sauces were great. Yucca fries were great, beans cooked well, and the Pico Salad was so fresh! We’re unfortunately on the other side of town, so wont make it out as much as we’d like. But we’ve added it to our list of spots to go when we’re in the area. They also have coffee and empanadas. So they can do so much. The owner (or worker that was very excited to be there) was very friendly and helped us order.

Worth the wait! The first thing we noticed as we entered Alpaca Chasqui is the delightful sensory immersion, from the Peruvian wood flute on the speakers setting the chill mood to the mural of Machu Pichu filling the north west corner adjacent to the friendly stuffed alpaca to comfy chairs and intoxicating smells previewing the Peruvian menu. We were attracted by the promise of breakfast empanadas which did not disappoint; my husband had two Napoleons (chorizo, egg, bacon, mozzarella cheese) while I devoured the avocado smash toast and Nutella brownie empanada for dessert! The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere made us want to stay all day. Order the freshly squeezed orange juice! Everything is freshly made and this takes time; pack your patience and breathe in the peace and joy. (Paz y alegria !)

We ordered ceviche and 1/2 of chicken with 2 sides. Both dishes were amazing! I don’t have a photo of ceviche but the portion was good and the fish was fresh and tasty. The chicken was juicy and tasted great. A must try place.

Dining here was a delightful experience. It’s a cute cafe with a very warm feeling. The Santiago empanada was delicious. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure our dining experience was top tier from start to finish. I was calling telling people how good the food was before I left the parking lot. I’ll definitely be dining again here soon.
