I’m highly confused… as most of us know this park has been closed for months now completely fenced off. Well, while driving down Mississippi I saw the fence was gone so I finally was able to take my son. Considering it was closed off I had assumed they upgraded the playground… boy was I wrong. The playground wasn’t touched at all. Very old worn down equipment, grafitti, crumbling floors. Why was it closed off for so long if the playground itself wasn’t even touched? You can see some new sidewalks were poured but that really took 4+ months to do?

Nice park with a lot of grass area to run and play. Big beautiful trees as well. Nice picnic cover area with tables as well as some other benches and picnic tables throughout the park. The basketball hoops and climbing well were nice and seemed to be in good shape and the playground with the dinosaur bones was tons of fun for the kiddos.

My kiddo had a blast here, It was clean, there were places to sit, and many opportunities for him to run around and explore. There is a large grassy area for kids to run around in the grass or possibly have a picnic.

Beautiful quiet park. Playground is definitely more for the younger aged kids. Cute rockwall off to the side in front of the basketball court. It was a good time for a short park visit. There's even a restroom!
