I’ve practiced at this studio for over seven years, even back when it was under a different name. It has been a constant in my life through a lot of seasons, and that says something. Andi, the owner, genuinely cares about creating a space that feels warm and welcoming. You feel that intention the moment you walk in. It’s a beautiful studio, thoughtfully designed, with clean bathrooms and showers and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer after class. Every teacher here is exceptional. I really encourage people to try a variety of classes, even if you think you “have your style.” There is depth across the board. And if you’re looking for the hottest and best hot yoga in town, this is it, just make sure you hydrate well the day before. I especially want to shout out Natasa. I’ve never met anyone with the expansive knowledge she has about how the body moves. She understands how to push with care. She knows how to structure a practice intelligently, weaving together alignment, strength, yoga modalities, and compassion for the self. If you want a teacher with decades of experience who will challenge you kindly and guide you toward a deeper understanding of yourself, take her Alignment and Strength, Hot, or Warm Flow classes. You won’t regret it. I’m deeply grateful to this studio for the gift of practice it’s given me over the years. I truly feel hOMe here.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this studio. From the moment you walk in, a sense of calm instantly melts the stress away. The space is beautifully designed and inviting; truly a sanctuary! The instructors and the variety of classes are truly exceptional. What really sets this studio apart is the community. You feel seen, encouraged, and part of something meaningful. Honestly, Root to Rise is the best yoga studio I have ever experienced.

Honestly this was not a very good experience. My girlfriend and I arrived to the studio at 8:27 and the session started at 8:30. We checked in and were then told (at 8:29) that we would have to take the 9 am class instead because we were “late” and that the class was “crowded”. They said we shouldn’t “disturb the session”. I told them I wanted to take the one we signed up for but they wouldn’t let us. In what world is 1 minute early considered late? Why would you accept the payment for the class if there wasn’t enough room?? How is going in going to disturb anyone? Furthermore, the class cost $30 per person (pretty expensive) and they said that the mats usually aren’t even included?!?!? The class we ended up taking was not beginner friendly and we weren’t prepared. We never had a choice to begin with. Even in the email I got for the sign up it never said anything like “make sure to arrive 10 minutes early if it is your first time here” or “bring your own mats”. Would highly recommend staying AWAY from here if you are a beginner or don’t usually show up to appointments 20 minutes early. What a waste.
