Super cute vintage spot to grab a few drinks! Wasn’t busy at all on a Sunday night which was nice. They are always busy. Delicious drinks I got an espresso martini. It was pretty price 48 dollars for 2 drinks but well worth it. Vibes were chill. Will definitely be back

1. I had a very disappointing experience at this bar, particularly with their caviar service. The caviar was pre-opened when it arrived at the table and appeared to have been previously frozen, with compromised texture and cloudy liquid. This was never disclosed. As someone who doesn’t order caviar often, it felt like they were taking advantage of a customer’s lack of specialized knowledge rather than offering a proper, transparent experience. 2. Attention to detail was lacking throughout. The bowl the chips were served in was wet, which immediately raised concerns about care and cleanliness. When you’re charging premium prices for items like caviar, basic execution and presentation matter. 3. Overall, this felt careless and misleading, especially for a product that relies heavily on freshness and proper handling. I wouldn’t order specialty or high-end items here again.

What a great little bar! I love the tough to find, speakeasy type feel. Drinks were spectacular, much like the service. Looking forward to returning next time I'm in the block!

I had an amazing experience at Run for the Roses, a fantastic speakeasy-style bar in Denver. The place exudes a secretive, old-school charm with its low-key and chill vibe—which is just the kind of atmosphere I love. Getting there is part of the allure: you follow a trail of roses to an elevator that takes you underground. Around the corner, you’ll find a gated check-in counter (I’ve already said too much!). Once inside, you’re greeted by a stunning room full of character and a nicely designed bar. The service was great. Their ordering system is fun and unique—you can stick to the menu or get creative with their card-based menu, where drinks are themed around different cards. Of course, I tried their Old Fashioned, and it was wonderful —definitely worth a second round (which I did have). I also had another cocktail (can’t quite recall the name), but it was equally delightful. On the food side, I sampled their deviled eggs, which were delicious and filling. They’re great to share with a friend unless you’re really into deviled eggs! Overall, the drinks were amazing, and the food made for a perfect complement. If I find myself in Denver again, I will absolutely return to this gem of a speakeasy. I highly recommend checking out Run for the Roses if you’re in the area—you won’t be disappointed!
