The Cake Bar

I am IN LOVE with The Cake Bar!! This is my new favorite place in Denver. Unfortunately, we live out of town, or maybe that is good, since I would be coming here every day if I were close 😂 I had to double-check that I had read that it was vegan, because it is the best cake and icing I’ve ever had, and I have no idea how that is possible without dairy products! Absolutely amazing!! I got a mini, and my 2 kiddos got a medium each (which ended up lasting them for 3 desserts). Best value in Denver! Very generous servings. Could easily be charging more. We met the baker/owner, and she was so lovely. It is clear she loves what she is doing, and is incredible at it. She noticed that the strawberries she was putting on mine didn’t look the most flavorful (colorful), so offered to put something else on with it, which I thought was really thoughtful. One of the toppings was ganache and it was to die for! I loved all the different cake, icing and topping choices - the only thing I didn’t like was how hard it was to choose! Can’t wait to try more!

I’ve had the pleasure of eating The Cake Bar’s goodies dozens of times, and just this year, they baked my wedding cake! It was so delicious and beautiful, and we received tons of compliments on it. Many of our guests didn’t realize the cake was vegan, and, when they found out, went back for seconds. We also got a dozen gluten free cupcakes for our GF guests, and those were equally delicious. I asked for a two-tier cake with red velvet and vanilla sponge with a vanilla buttercream. Angie was really helpful during our consult phone call, and the order and delivery process was pretty smooth. I’ll definitely be getting more special event cakes from here in the future.

I am not vegan at all and I LOVE The Cake Bar!! My partner got my birthday cake from here 2 years ago and I still dream of that cake to this day. Since then, it's become our go to spot for every special occasion and it is always incredible. We've even got our friends hooked on it. Plus, my partner is recently gluten free and her birthday cake still slapped. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing. I had it for my birthday in 2024 and knew it had to be the cake for my elopement ceremony this year. I don't even live in Colorado but every time I go I will get a cake from here. The pictures do not do the cake justice. I spent so much time admiring the beauty of the cake with its vintage ruffles, black bows, the font, but most importantly - glitter! It exceeded my expectations in beauty and I've never had such a delicious strawberry cake in my life.
