Probably the best prices you'll find downtown for a good, quick-service lunch option like this. (After all, only my husband can eat at Illegal Pete's every day.) Really friendly staff, cute spot -- even has the outdoor seating outside Union Station facing the fountains. The bento box is a great deal: $16 for a good portion of meat, choice of rice or noodles, salad, 4 little Korean sides, and even dessert. (Note: $2 up-charge if you want ribeye bulgogi instead of spicy pork, spicy chicken, or chicken bulgogi). I don't know what vegan bulgogi is, and I don't care -- but they have it. Bimbimbap bowl is only $10 (but that's because it comes vegetarian, and you add meat). It's a bowl of rice topped with a variety of finely cut veggies and an egg. Add meat and mix it all together. Meat options are ribeye bulgogi, chicken bulgogi, vegan bulgogi, tuna, salmon, spicy chicken, and spicy pork (all ranging $4-$5 to add to your bimbimbap). The Inari is another creation option, especially on the go. Three tofu pockets filled with rice and your choice of meat/fish for $10. Like little pitas. The sushi was good -- but don't expect restaurant sushi. I enjoyed the chirashi bowl. For $12-$14 for a bowl or a nigiri sampler, it certainly beats any restaurant pricing — comparable in price (and quality) to the made-to-order sushi somewhere like Whole Foods.

We had a really great meal at Ogo Korean BBQ & Sushi Pronto in Union Station. Two of us got the bulgogi bento boxes—lots of food, really flavorful, and nicely put together. The third went with sushi, which was fresh and solid. Then the cream puffs… one of us liked them so much she bought a dozen to share with friends. They’re that good. The place is super clean, relaxed, and easy to hang out in. Owner and staff are genuinely friendly and happy to explain anything on the menu, which we appreciated. Great food, good prices, and right there in Union Station. We’ll definitely be back.
