Saffron Grill Lakewood

Just what I was looking for. I couldn't decide between falafel and gyro meat, but luckily they have a combination plate so I could get both! The falafel were so perfectly cooked and tasted great! The serving sizes were huge which means I had lunch for the next day! There was no one else here when we went on a weekday at 6:30 pm and I can't understand why. We had friendly service and excellently prepared food. If I lived near here I would eat here regularly.

Ever since Bada Bing Grill changed ownership we haven’t tried a Mediterranean restaurant until today. Let me tell you how good Saffron Grill Lakewood was! Nor (our host) was delightful, very patient while explaining his dishes and super accommodating. We started with falafel and hummus, delicious! I had a combination plate (meat lovers) which had lamb/steak/chicken. Everything was cooked at perfection (lamb gyro meat’s seasoning/taste was out of this world!) and the Greek salad I ordered was super fresh and delicious. My fiancé had a chicken kabob gyro, she loved it just as much as bada bings previous ownership’s. It’s worth mentioning we came on a Saturday afternoon, his dining room was not busy and it took him a good 15ish minutes to bring out our entrees. If you’re in a rush don’t come here, but we enjoyed every minute hanging out at Nor’s. Will come back again and again, thank you Nor!🙏

Ate from here for the first time yesterday! I placed an order for pickup for the Meat Lovers combo, with the Greek salad and Tzatziki. The taste of everything in the combo was delicious and was well worth the price. The combo included a great variety of meats, each one having a huge portion present in the dish, and the amount of rice and pita did not disappoint. It honestly could’ve been two meals but it was just so good I finished it all in one go. Would highly recommend you come check it out, as I will definitely be back!

Food is INCREDIBLE. Truly the best falafel I've ever had! Great dolmas too. There were so many appealing options on the menu for plant based eaters and meat lovers, no matter what you get make sure you get a side / appetizer of falafel. Don't sleep on this spot!
