Lovely addition to Sloan’s lake. Thankful to have a tasty Italian spot in the neighborhood. We did the Denver restaurant week tasting menu, and we liked everything with the exception of the gnocchi texture (something was off). Highlight was the meatballs and bread though! Tiramisu was also fantastic. Gave this spot a 8.0 on beli.

The focaccia was the best part. Said I was vegetarian and the waiter still tried to recommend non vegetarian options. Seemed understaffed tonight. Amalfi pizza was good but far too spicy- my boyfriend has a high spice tolerance and even said it was too much and took away from enjoying the pizza. It was also our anniversary which we put on the reservation and they didn’t say anything, we didn’t expect anything free but normally places wish you a happy bday or anniversary and acknowledge it so that was disappointing. Overall the place did not meet expectations, bummed.

It's just okay. I ordered the gnocchi and I'm not a fan of their version of it. I do hand it to the waiter because he did a great job of explaining to me that it wasn't true gnocchi, but I was curious enough to try it. It's really just ricotta and spinach balled up together. Most of the taste came from the brodo broth and the beautiful prosciutto on top. I think this dish is better as an appetizer because I was still really hungry afterwards, but at $27 a plate, it's not really worth it. I recommend that anyone coming here share plates with other people at the table to fill up and experience other dishes. The atmosphere and staff are very cool.

My wife and I came here for a date night a couple times. The first time, I was surprised that they added a junk fee to the check called "The Denver Fair Wage Fee," seemingly attributing it to a Denver ordinance that I assumed was new since I hadn't seen it at other Denver restaurants. When I got home and checked, no such ordinance existed. I decided to go back a second time for Valentine's Day, since my wife loved their gluten-friendly menu. On this second visit, a table beside us asked about the junk fee added to their check. The server responded, "that's because of the Denver Fair Wage Act." That was the last straw for me. It's one thing to add a junk fee to your menu and take ownership, but it's another thing to blame it on a law that doesn't exist. We all know prices have shot up since COVID and will never go back down, so why try to trick your customers? My wife and I both love the food here, and it's a shame that the owner feels like they need to lie to their customers in order to keep the doors open. I'd be more than happy to change this review to a four or five star review if the owner either (1) takes ownership of the junk fee or (2) removes the junk fee. Until that happens, the bill paying part of the dining experience ruins it for me. Please take ownership of your business practices and stop trying to trick your customers.
