The servers were definitely the highlight of this place! Kate was amazing and very attentive and personable. I came to this restaurant specifically to try their gluten free food (as I am celiac). This restaurant has an entirely separate menu (which was quite extensive) showing their gluten free options which was amazing! The meals also come out with a little gluten free stick which was very much appreciated. The miso cod was absolutely delicious (I could have eaten 3 of those pieces of fish) however this dish had wayyy too much rice for the fish portion. The rainbow roll I ordered was fine but the fish wasn't the freshest. All in all a great experience though for the price. The gluten free mochi to finish was the best!

This place is freaking delicious! I 100% recommend and here’s why: While our server was super kind and absolutely adorable, we noticed it took us significantly longer to get our drinks and food than the tables surrounding us. Buuut when the food finally arrived, we were all amazed and found we 100% didn’t mind the wait! 🍣Multiple orgasm roll: 10/10 (I find myself dreaming about this one!) 🍣 Aspen roll: 10/10 (it was delicate and flavorful, by far one of my top favorites!) 🍣 Caterpillar roll: 8/10 (if you like strawberries this is a must try! I’m not usually a fan of the savory/sweet mix but this one had me reevaluating my opinion.) 🍣 Hapa roll: 8/10 (compared to the other flavors we had, this one felt underwhelming but it’s such a staple to order because you can always gauge a place by its simpler rolls. And I can tell you, it didn’t disappoint. It was fresh and the kick on the back end was perfect!) 🍹 My friend who had the G-Spot would give it a 10/10. My personal preference would say 8/10. I wanted more of the raspberry flavor to pop through. 🍹 My sister had the Soju Blossom and she recommends 10/10! I enjoyed that it wasn’t overly sweet but I felt like something was missing so I’d say 8/10 for this one too! 🍹 I ordered a liquid crystal but looking over the menu, I don’t think that’s what I got. I remember the one I drank had egg whites in it when I asked sooo now I’m not sure what I had…so I feel like rating it would be unfair.

Great Place on our first dinner stop n Denver. Lots of Room and loved the layout. The food was fantastic, great size cuts of sashimi and lots of rolls to choose from. We had a party of 6, and made a reservation. Our server Cody was the best! The check out was super easy as we could split the bill of our party through a QR code checkout.

My husband and I came to Hapa downtown for the first time and it was more than disappointing. We ordered the Orgasm roll, Hapa roll, Salmon skin roll and a special roll called Funtimes. The Orgasm roll was barely covered in special sauce and was half cold, did not taste good at all. The Hapa roll has filler and not my favorite. The salmon skin and special roll were good. The service was terrible, we couldn’t even order a drink before ordering food and we ordered an appetizer and all the food came out at the same time. It felt like we were being rushed out but the server was MIA our entire meal. I had to flag other servers down every time I needed something. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will not be going back!
