I was visiting Denver during this occasion, and was looking for a nice place to grab a bite and a drink. I'm so glad we stumbled on Dos Santos! It's small and cute with craft food and cocktails. We sat outside where we could watch the traffic and walkers on 17th, which was perfect. The drinks are very good and the food is delicious. I enjoyed myself so much, I had to repeat the occasion once more before leaving Denver. And, next time I visit, guess what? 😉

We got 3 tacos and a steak quesadilla. 2 margs, gauc and chips. Total was $87. My taco was piled high with toppings so it was tough to eat. The steak in quesadilla was really big chunks. Food tasted good just tough to eat. Margs were small for price, short glasses. Seemed a bit overpriced but it's Denver so.... Service was great. Lighting was really dim but place looked clean. Bad bunny was most of the music playing in background. Overall I just wanted to try this place. I won't be back because we have so many other places to try.

Inventive tacos and Hispanic adjacent fare in modern digs with an impressive tequila/mezcal spread. The whipped cotija with honey was the highlight of the meal. Just an interesting mix of flavors with some fancy cut vegetables. Of the tacos, the barbacoa was the weakest, tasting a bit overcooked and without enough of the kimchi to make a noticable impact to the taste. The pork belly taco was great; I'll definitely order that again. The special, a seared ahi taco with a pineapple slaw of some sort on top, was delightful. My partner went with the brunch menu chilequiles. It came with chicken tinga, a red sauce, a spicy orange one, and a couple eggs. Well executed, and a good value for the money. I'll be back on a Tuesday for the specials, or make a late night stop for the late night specials some time soon.

Yeah! I must admit, I ordered the Tinga chips with the expectation that the chicken would be dry, which is a bit of a letdown considering I’ve lived in Denver for quite some time now. But to my surprise, the chicken was actually quite moist and flavorful. We also ordered a few other tacos, and they had an impressive selection of different flavors to choose from. Overall, the tacos were delicious, and I highly recommend visiting them for Taco Tuesday. They offer great deals, and the service was exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the shared tip pool system, as it showed that the staff worked as a team to provide excellent service.
