Belcaro Motel

Honestly and truly, this hotel is just as nice, if not nicer, then any two-star hotel I've ever been to. Cannot beat the price, rooms are clean, and the family that runs the business is lovely. You could easily pay double the price for a giant national chain but you would be rolling the dice. Here, you will get a clean room and an easy check-in experience. I asked to see a room before booking, because I have chemical sensitivities, and they kindly accommodated - and then they also accommodated moving us to a room with a bathtub vs. shower.

The innkeeper, Cane, was very kind (be sure to pay your bill before 11AM). I didn't see any evidence of insects, trust me I looked!!! I stayed for 3 weeks in-between places. The housekeepers were very sweet and accommodating. The location was great! There were convenience stores, pharmacies, fast food, restaurants, grocers, and retail shops all within a 2 minute walk. The 11, and 40 bus stops were right across the street, light rail 1.5 miles away. The nearby neighborhood was affluent and seemed very safe. The air conditioner plus my box fan drowned out the traffic noise at night. The parking lot and neon signage were well lit, tidy, and well maintained. The other guests seemed pretty chill and quiet because I didn't hear commotion, or yelling. Also, no visitors are allowed in the rooms after 6PM. I didn't see any ladies of the night, those who sell shenanigans, or those who sleep outside on the property (bless them)! There were lots of legit cable channels and Internet. It was modest lodging, and I really enjoyed the smoking room as well lol. Overall, thanks for a pretty chill stay!!

Rooms were clean. Somewhat updated. Lots of pillows, mini fridge, microwave, ironing board, iron, Small desk area. Not bad for the price. Great location tons of restaurants right around!
