Today was my first time dining at Post Oak BBQ!! For Thanksgiving last year, our family ordered Post Oak turkey breast and brisket for our Thanksgiving dinner and everyone was so impressed and pleased!! It was the best turkey we’ve ever had! Since then, we had been talking about coming to the restaurant to eat and I am so glad we were finally able to! All of the staff were so friendly, attentive, kind, and warm!! The atmosphere is lively and fun and reminds me of my beloved BBQ spots back home in the Carolinas. And omg the food!! It was spectacular!!!! Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had! We loved all the sauces, the pulled pork and ribs were just perfect, fried okra was exactly what I wanted and have been missing out here!, banana pudding too was so divine! We were so happy with our lunch and experience at Post Oak BBQ. We will be back soon! Thank you for a great time!

It was ok. We really don’t have anything else to say. The food wasn’t warm. We received no help or recommendations when we said we hadn’t been in before. It was just a bit odd. They didn’t even offer a potato salad I don’t think. But hey, everyone has their own ideas of what goes with bbq I guess. I got the mashed and gravy and didn’t care for it myself. I don’t remember if the place was clean. We didn’t visit the restrooms. Parking in that neighborhood can also be tough as it’s all street and they’ve torn down all the cute little houses with businesses in them and put up multi story apartment buildings every where. We almost left and went somewhere else but ended up finding a spot about 3 blocks away. It was one of the rare frigid days we’ve had so far this winter. It was not a fun walk. I don’t think we’ll be back.

Definitely a delicious place for bbq which is harder to find in Denver than other cuisines. I had the Texas style bbq pulled pork sandwich and my boyfriend got the loaded baked potato. Excellent tender meat and lots of variety for sauces. Would like to come back and try the Carolina style instead of the Texas.
