Overall, just a fantastic experience. I was new to Vital Root and a friend encouraged we go here for lunch. Glad we did. It was a little early for lunch so I opted for the breakfast burrito and a hibiscus. Margarita. My friend opted for the vegan bacon wrap sandwich. Both were top-notch full of flavor. Couldn’t ask for anything more. They have a lot of options on the menu for vegetarians, vegans, and non-vegans. Will be visiting soon again. I joked with one of the staff about making the hibiscus margaritas bottomless. She said no problem just that she would need a credit card on file. We both had a good laugh.

I've been here a few times with family or friends, and every time the food is incredibly flavorful and beyond satisfying. Everything they have is very healthy and they have multiple vegetarian and vegan options. I'm a vegan and I got the orange tofu bowl with avocado and Sriracha added, which was recommended by Gabbi; I can't thank her enough for such a wonderful suggestion (and great service)! It tastes better than any orange chicken/tofu that I can remember and is the perfect mixture of flavors and textures. I'm not sure how they make the food taste as good as it does, but I highly recommend giving them a try. However, just know their front door can be tricky--pull it out and don't try to slide it. 😉

After seeing a TikTok video, I decided to visit this place, expecting a great experience. Unfortunately, my visit turned out to be very disappointing. The first thing that stood out was the lack of cleanliness. Several tables were dirty, and the self-serve water station with glasses was shockingly unclean, which immediately raised serious concerns about hygiene. The food itself was also a letdown. It was extremely salty, bitter from an excessive amount of garlic, and noticeably greasy. The flavors were unbalanced and unpleasant. This was especially disappointing because the chicken looked good and initially had a lot of potential, but the taste completely ruined it. Overall, the experience did not live up to the expectations set by the TikTok hype. Due to the poor cleanliness and disappointing food, I would not recommend this place.

The breakfast burrito was absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned and full of fresh flavor. The no-bake cinnamon roll was phenomenal; rich, indulgent, and made with so much care. The atmosphere felt neutral yet welcoming, and the customer service was warm and attentive. Definitely a spot I’d return to for both the food and the friendly experience.
