Very nice park with walking trails, a small pond, wildlife and a butterfly garden. This will be even better in a month or so when there are leaves, but now you could see the big nests in the trees. Saw geese feeding, several birds including a woodpecker and some rabbits on this visit. There are some benches along the way and a lookout where you can sit and watch.

Beautiful local wetlands! I highly recommend this place for families with elementary age kids. Bring your binoculars to checkout the birds. I was told that there were sightings of eagles. I couldn’t tell what birds I encountered in the picture below.

I love this park because it's got an easy walk to a really cool picnic area! The walk to the spot takes you past a pond and over a long boardwalk! It's perfect for toddlers who really don't want to walk that far. You could probably even get away with pushing the stroller out there!
