Surprised that a venue beneath a pub can feel quaint and modern at the same time. Intimate venue with state of the art acoustics and fun, well thought out placement of tables in tiered, cabaret style setting. Comfortable, engaging atmosphere and a real ability to enjoy the music presented. Our waiter seemed super confused and perhaps new at his job, but hey - maybe it was his first day. If you buy two tickets, you will be sharing your table with two others if they have been purchased. Food seemed sort of expensive and i ended up buying Pellegrino all night so I could get a constant supply of cool water. I had to repeatedly ask for ice and never got any so I went to the bar and was told they were out of glasses. I’m not sure what was going on that night but it didn’t affect the truly great time I had. They had an issue with lighting the show at the beginning and the manager or person on charge was totally on top of resolving the problem immediately. Go there to see legends, geniuses, up and comers as well as enjoy their lovely, intimate and fun environment. I’ll go back anytime!!

Amazing concert venue. Loved the intimate seating, especially on the 2nd level rail seating. Sound quality was awesome and atmosphere was amazing. Food options were good as well. Would definitely come back! Service was good, though it could have been a touch more frequent. Servers were kind and did their best not to disturb the performance. Rating 4 stars instead of 5 for only one reason, and that is when you ask for water, they bring you a single use plastic water bottle and then charge you for it. I would love to have just a glass of water and not use any single-use plastics, in the name of sustainability. My beer was served in a glass, why couldn't they take one of those and fill it up from the tap? Without that small annoyance, the Soiled Dove Underground is a great experience and a very unique concert venue that anyone interested should definitely visit!

So glad this place survived the pandemic. Small and personal concert venue with friendly staff. Concerts are incredible. We go to every jazz concert we can. Bar food has bern upgraded as well as drinks and numbering on tables. Good food upstairs in the Tavern or around the corner at North County if you want to eat prior to concert .seating is tight but great way to meet new friends.

Excellent venue. Great sound system. Convenient location downstairs from the Tavern in a shopping and entertainment mecca. Well, maybe not a "mecca", but everything you need is close by.
