Things to Know
Ultreia serves excellent Spanish tapas with fresh, quality ingredients and attentive service, but the cramped interior space and poor kitchen ventilation can detract from the dining experience.

I hate to give it that rating but unfortunately I have to. The food and service were excellent and the prices are also pretty decent. Unfortunately since this is kind of an open kitchen concept, our eyes were burning the entire time which made us feel uncomfortable and we couldn’t really enjoy the experience. The ventilation is bad there, our clothes were smelling so badly burned after we left we couldn’t even sit in the car with that smell. Had to wash everything immediately. Hair smelled terrible as well. Maybe put glass between the kitchen and seating area? Or better ventilation. Would have for sure came back if that was the case. Thank you

I liked the atmosphere. It’s fun and upbeat in a fun part of the city. The weather was great so sitting outside would have been a better option. We sat inside and downstairs. The food was good. The service was great . They serve you quickly . We ordered three small happy hour appetizer to try out some items. We had the eggplant, the deviled eggs and the gambas (shrimp)x the deviled eggs were the best if the three with the most flavor. Then we ordered the bacon wrapped dates, the croquetas , the ribs and the patatas. It was a bit more than we ended but we were celebrating a birthday. We liked the dates and croquets as better than the happy hour appetizers. The ribs were good but their ones that weren’t bone in were dry. It was a bit too much but we took some home . We wanted to try several dishes I had noted in my Open table reservation that it was my husband’s birthday but after we met we realized they didn’t even offer a the dessert menu. My husband said he wouldn’t go back as he thinks we’ve been to much restaurants with much better food. I wouldn’t mind going back but we are still exploring the city and will try others first

Great service. Good Food. (Don't miss the churros! What a great ending to a meal!). Food menu is indeed a little limited, but seasonal variety is good. Atmosphere is merely ok. I had hoped to have a romantic date night but it was kinda cramped, crowded, and dark with bad lighting on the main level in the dining area. Maybe if there were lamps like in the bar it would he better. Maybe next time I'll be able to sit upstairs on the balcony.

We came in as a party of three with no dinner reservations, day before Valentine's, and were seated at the bar. The staff was attentive and kind. We enjoyed two Spanish bottles of wine, and tapas that were incredible and fresh. The jamon sampler, the ham croquettes, shrimp toast, and the marinated olives and almonds... all fantastic. We also had the octopus and it was fork tender. I didnt take any pictures of the wines or food, because we enjoyed our time talking, eating, and drinking. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.
