La Cantrina Tequila & Tacos is an absolute gem! The menu offers an amazing variety of food, and everything we tried was packed with flavor and clearly made with care. Whether you’re craving tacos or something a little different, there’s something for everyone. The adult beverage selection is next level so many great options, and perfectly crafted. And don’t even think about skipping dessert… they were incredible and the perfect way to end the meal. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the staff. Freakin’ awesome they are friendly, attentive, and genuinely fun. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows. Highly recommend La Cantrina if you’re looking for great food, killer drinks, and an all around awesome atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

The atmosphere is very nice, with great décor that creates a welcoming environment. The service was good, though not outstanding. During my visit, I ordered the Tacos La Catrina along with a Café de la Olla. The first thing brought to the table was the chips and salsa, which were delicious and a great way to start the meal. The food arrived in about seven minutes and was presented very well. The Café de la Olla was served first in a nicely decorated traditional Mexican mug, along with sugar options and powdered milk. I personally prefer regular milk, which I requested and was provided. The coffee is not sweetened, so you prepare it to your taste. The tacos were served on a butcher block and nicely arranged, accompanied by a grilled jalapeño, lime, and green salsa. While the presentation was appealing, the steak and shrimp were a bit under my expectations, mainly due to a lack of seasoning, which made the tacos taste somewhat bland. Overall: With a bit more attention to detail, this place has the potential to be excellent. I wouldn’t say no to coming back—perhaps it was just an off day, and I’d be open to giving it another try.

Great tacos, the chips and guac was also excellent. Only taking away 1 star because we got changed for two horchatas but we only got one. Definitely returning. Might stick with one plate the portions for the menudo was big.
